WHAT YOU’LL NEED.
Federal and Florida law set these requirements. We follow them on every sale.
- Valid photo IDA government-issued ID showing your current address. A Florida driver license or ID card is simplest.
- Form 4473 & background checkEvery buyer completes ATF Form 4473 in person. We run the background check through FDLE.
- Florida waiting periodThere’s a 3-day wait, not counting weekends and legal holidays. Holders of a Florida concealed weapon license are exempt.
- Out-of-state buyersLong guns can be transferred in person if the sale is legal in both states. Handguns can only go to Florida residents here. Otherwise we can ship to a dealer in your home state.
- Buying for yourselfYou must be the actual buyer. Buying for someone else (a “straw purchase”) is a federal crime.
- By appointmentPickups and transfers are scheduled ahead of time, so your paperwork is ready when you arrive.

BEFORE YOU
BUY.
Can you ship a firearm to my house?
No. We complete every firearm transfer in person at our licensed location. If you live out of state, we can ship to a licensed dealer near you, who will complete the transfer.
Can I put a deposit down or hold a firearm?
Not right now. An inquiry starts a conversation, but it doesn’t reserve a firearm. We’ll confirm availability with you directly.
Do you charge for transfers?
There’s no transfer fee right now. Have the seller ship to us, then start a transfer so we know it’s coming.
What if I fail the background check or get a delay?
We can’t transfer the firearm until the background check is approved. If your check is delayed, we’ll tell you the next steps.
